With the summer upon us, we are taking this time to re-evaluate our resource workshops, as well as seek funding assistance so that we can continue to provide the same quality of resources as in the past. After all, we are dedicated to bringing you …… the caregiver all the resources and services we can to help you protect the children in your care. Every few years Grandparents Parenting . . . Again hosts a conference that brings relative caregivers together with professionals throughout our country. These professionals provide a vast array of information that is helpful to you in your endeavor to raise a family member’s child. Watch here for our next conference. |
Conferences |

Adults and children can benefit from our gatherings (picnics, potlucks, holiday parties, etc.) which allow socialization and adjustment to a non-traditional family structure with others in a similar situation.
We host picnics, pot lucks and best of all our parties. There are two parties during the holidays, one is a dinner just for the caregivers, and the other is a party for the children where we have games, treats and best of all Santa comes to visit with his huge bag of toys.
The 2007 holiday parties are as follows: Caregiver dinner December 8; 6 pm—9 pm
Children’s holiday party December 22, 2007 1 pm—3:30 pm |
